A client came to us after having worked with other attorneys without success and had almost lost hope. Unfortunately, she had a deportation order she didn’t know about in the past and had been living and working in the US for many years. She lived in fear for her family and waited until her US citizen daughter graduated HS in case her case wasn’t reopened in court and she was ultimately deported. 
She hired us after a friend referred her to our firm and in five years of hard work, we reopened the deportation order and filed for her green card in immigration court. Although her adjustment of status was approved late last year, we had to continue to advocate for her green card to be issued. Just this last week, she received the card in the mail! This was a tough and long fight but we won! We are so happy for her and her family that she may now live and work in peace and travel when safe to visit family she hasn’t seen in years!
